Congratulations to Windword client Patricia Bathory, who’s won the Silver Medal for self-help books in the Independent Book Publishers Association’s 2025 awards. Her book Connected: Building Relationships to Achieve Success and Make a Lasting Impact was a collaboration with Windword's Toni Robino and previously won gold in the Axiom Business Book Awards' networking category and has been short-listed in the prescriptive nonfiction category of Gotham Ghostwriters' Andy Awards for collaborations.
Connected is Windword's second title to medal in the IBPA awards. It follows a Gold Medal win for Brad Aronson's Humankind: Changing the World One Small Act at a Time in the inspirational category in 2021.
The IBPA is the biggest publishing trade association in the United States, and the awards are considered to be among the industry's most prestigious, consistently recognizing writing of a high caliber. Windword is honored to have participated in these projects.
